LOCATION: Hatgad / Saputara
March-end is almost as good as start of dry summers and it’s so true for the places which are near to the centre of India. Dry, life-less as it seems, but every season has its own beauty. We decided to go for a road-trip to Hatgad which is the last small town of Maharashtra, almost 10 minutes away from the border of Gujarat and the famous hill-station – Saputara. The entire road trip saw mostly leaf-less branches of trees, golden-brown land and almost empty roads. Nevertheless, our love for off-seasons rewarded us with a unique landscape, which we might not see during the season, a laid-back holiday, sun-sets and sun-rises to our own and meeting the local artisians and learning the tribal art ‘Warli’ as the only student. I am more than excited to share few of the glimpses of the amazing landscape I witnessed while on the road!
